Why Qurly

We compete in a category dominated by aging incumbents — the dominant link shortener was founded in 2008 and the product hasn't changed materially since. We think the next generation of marketers, creators, and operators want something faster, more measurable, and more honest about what its data actually tells you. We're shipping it. There aren't a lot of categories left where you can show up with modern infrastructure and modern product instincts and meaningfully outclass the people who got there first; this is one of them.

How we work

  • Remote-first. Work from wherever you do your best thinking. We have a small core in the US Eastern timezone but we hire globally and keep meetings sparse.
  • Small team, big ownership. You'll ship features end-to-end — design through deploy through follow-up — instead of being one role in a five-step assembly line.
  • Async by default. We default to written threads, recorded Looms, and decision docs. Sync time is reserved for the things that genuinely need it. No standup theatre, no calendar Tetris.
  • Quality and privacy compound. We move quickly but we don't ship slop. Click data is hashed at the edge and never leaves the user's region. We treat the trust boundary like infrastructure, not marketing copy.
  • Compensation is competitive and transparent. Salary bands are public to the team. Equity is meaningful. We pay the same for the same role regardless of where you live.

What we look for

We hire for craft, judgment, and the ability to operate without constant supervision. Specifically:

  • Engineers who care about correctness, performance, and the long tail of edge cases — not just the happy path
  • Designers who can write — most of our product surface is words and shapes, not just shapes
  • Growth and content operators who understand technical SEO, attribution, and the difference between vanity and outcome metrics
  • People who can write down what they're doing clearly enough that others can disagree with it
  • People who push back when something seems off — politely, in writing, with reasoning

What we offer

Real ownership of the things you ship. A founding-team-sized equity stake even for non-founder hires. Health, dental, and vision (US); a generous stipend toward equivalent coverage where we can't sponsor it directly. Unlimited PTO with a four-week minimum so it actually gets used. A home-office stipend, a co-working stipend if you'd rather work outside the house, and a learning-and-conferences budget you don't need approval to spend. We close the office for the last two weeks of December every year — actual rest, no Slack on call.
